Bay Lake, Fla. (WFLA) – Looks a little different right away on a walk along Main Street USA of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
Disney announced on Sunday that its famous Cinderella Castle is gaining a new look, which may be familiar.
The castle is painted with touches of grey, cream, blue and gold. Disney said the new colours aim to enhance the castle’s architecture.

According to Disney, the colour was chosen to “reflect the Florida sun” so that it “sparks the Florida sun from all angles.”
The park has released an artist’s rendering of what Cinderella Castle looks like when the work is finished.

The castle last transformed in 2020 when it was painted with pink, blue and gold accents.
Disney didn’t say when work would begin with the new colour palette.
