(Nexstar) – Heads Up, parents and Walt Disney World announced Monday that qualifying children will be able to eat for free next year.
Walt Disney World’s announcement is just before the opening of the 2026 hotel and ticket booking window, which begins Tuesday.
According to a post on the park’s website, the deal, which is valid for 2026 arrivals, applies to children aged 3-9 years old.
However, there are a few catches to get the advantage. Adult parents or guardians must stay with their qualifying children in a Disney Resort Collection Hotel room. All guests must sign up for the same meal plan (free for children) for the duration of their stay.

Guests can choose from two different plans offering meals, snacks and drink combinations, a quick service dining plan and a meal plan.
Disney World warns you that you must book your booking in advance for a limited number of travel packages that can be combined with a free dining offer.
According to Point Guy, Disney doesn’t usually allow visitors to combine free meal promotions with other deals, but that’s not the case in 2026.
Disney also reportedly brings home the 2025 perks that have proven popular.
