Disney World unveils Taylor Swift’s outfit for Elas Tour

You’re probably thinking that Taylor Swift is everywhere these days, so it wouldn’t be a shock if she showed up at Walt Disney World.

In this case, three of her tour outfits can be seen at Walt Disney Presents, a walk-through attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

The trio are mounted on mannequins behind glass in a single display case, and Disney says each was worn during Swift’s famous Elas tour. Visitors can see a black and gold serpentine bodysuit (designed by Roberto Cavalli) that was part of her “Reputation” set, as well as a Vivienne Westwood dress with lyrics from “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” The final song of the show, “Karma,” featured a red fringe jacket over a blue bodysuit.

The exhibit is in support of Disney+’s six-episode documentary series “The End of an Era” and the streamer’s “The Final Show.”

The costumes attracted attention during the busy holiday season. People are attracted to the shine and show. I heard one woman comment that Swift made her feel like she was “normal sized…and it’s good to show it.”

The costumes will be placed just in front of major exhibits at WDW’s upcoming attractions, including Tropical America at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the “Cars” ride at Magic Kingdom and the “Toy Story” Land under construction at Hollywood Studios.

Overall, Walt Disney Presents is a flashback-like attraction that details subjects such as Walt’s childhood, historical technology, theme park development, and paraphernalia associated with the Mickey Mouse Club. Across from the Swift exhibit stands a partially exposed animatronic of Abraham Lincoln. Or, as a young passerby called it, “Honest Abe returns as the Terminator.”

According to Disney, the Swift costume exhibit will remain at DHS until January 23rd.
