Polls found that Desantis enjoys a 54% approval rate in Florida, while Trump is at 51% after the first 100 days of his second term. Less than half of respondents say Florida is heading in the right direction, while 43% believe things are on the wrong track.
57% of voters support an extension of the 2017 tax cut. Extension of tax cuts was widely supported by Republicans (87%) and independent voters (55%). 23% of Democrats support the cuts.
A Chamber of Commerce poll also found that the majority of Floridians (53%) support the legalization of recreational marijuana. This is still below the required 60% threshold that was allowed to pass the amendment in November.
