TAMALAK, Fla. (WFLA) – Deputies from the eighth Broward County Sheriff’s Office have been placed on paid leave as the agency considers triple murder and a failure leading up to the 4-year-old Tamarak.
The sheriff’s office identified the aide as Raul Ortiz and said it was suspended on Monday. Murder victim Mary Gingles claimed Ortiz didn’t return the phone after discovering the tracking device in her car in October, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ.

Sheriff Gregory Tony said that deputies at the time had the cause for the arrest of the ultimate murder suspect, Nathan Gingle, but did not. Additionally, Jeremiah Cooper Grandtain, executive officer who will preside over the Tamarak district, was demoted to vice-continued on Wednesday.
Tony halted seven agents within days of the murder as a result of an internal investigation “about any possible defects” to the murder.
Nathan Gingles was accused of fatally shooting an estranged wife, father and another man while accusing her 4-year-old daughter earlier this month.
