“I think you’re just riding the waves,” Reinhart said of power-through stamina. “When you do a very hard job on it, it makes it even more fun.”
Use past experience to help you secure a back-to-back cup. This is the 10th franchise so far.
There’s no stress, just succeed.
“Last year was so busy that everyone just knows how to sit down and have fun,” Alexander Barkov Otain said about the difference between celebrating the cup this year. “It happened (last year), it was your first time and you’ve dreamed of it for a long time. I feel like everyone has given permission to enjoy it this year.”
Take the party to Sunday and the Panthers are ready to celebrate again with A1A fans during the team’s championship parade.
For one Panther who missed last year’s celebration, the hope and excitement of riding a bus has been built for a year.
“It was something my wife and I talked all year round and we wanted to go back here and be part of the parade,” said Reinhart, who missed last year’s iconic rain-soaked parade. “It’s pretty cool. I’m excited tomorrow.”
Despite last year’s heavy thunderstorms, receiving a fair amount of shows should make this year’s parade even bigger.
One thing fans can expect regardless of the weather is that Director Paul Maurice is wearing another shirt from the Maurice family cat.
“There’s no choice about that,” Maurice said. “There are two, but you have to wear both.”
