MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A couple were arrested Sunday after multiple arguments with staff at Miami International Airport, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ.
The couple was identified as Rafael Seirafe Novas and Beatrice Rapoport de Campos Maia. They were late for a flight to Mexico.

Before they tried to rush into the plane, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said the couple had threw coffee in the staff’s faces.
The video shows about six deputies for the tarmac next to the American Flight 2494. The violent altercation took place minutes before takeoff.
Seirafe-Novaes has been charged with resisting an officer. Maia was charged with two counts of battery and trespassing.
American Airlines issued a statement saying the violence was not tolerated by the airline.
