Cory Robertson continues his family legacy with “Duck Dynasty” reboot

“Duck Dynasty: Revival” is scheduled to premiere this summer.

Korie Robertson, star of the reality series “Duck Dynasty,” will see viewers see the next generation of Robertsons continue their family legacy when “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” premiere this summer. I’m craving.

A&E announced its long-awaited reboot earlier this year. In the new series, members of the “Duck Dynasty” clan return to the network after eight years of rest.

Married in 1992, Corey and Willie Robertson appeared in the original “Duck Dynasty” series. The couple shares six children: Rebecca, John Luke, Sadie, Will Jr., Lowdy and Bella.

The “Duck Dynasty” documented the life of the Robertson family. This is a Louisiana home led by Patriarch Phil Robertson and his wife Kay.

The show centered around Commander Duck, a successful hunting company, running alongside his sons Jace, Willie and JEP. Older son Alan quit his job as a pastor to participate in the series during the fourth season.

Speaking to podcast host Ginny Julich, Cory Robertson said most of her adult children are now back home and working in a family business.

“So its continuity, the legacy of that generation, what is happening in the “Duck Dynasty,” Phil and Kay were grandparents, we were parents, our children were children.” She explained.

“This time, we are grandparents and our children are parents now, and having people show us to people like that continuation of what is still happening in our family is really special. It will be. We are excited.”

“Duck Dynasty: Revival”

Future reboots will feature 20 hourly episodes over two seasons, shifting from the original show’s 30-minute format.

In addition to Willie and Cory Robertson and their children, A&E also has the series in the original “Duck Dynasty” series, including Phil Robertson’s brothers Kay Robertson and Si Robertson. He said it is a feature of other fans’ favorites.

The network has not confirmed whether a family head, who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, will appear on the show.

“Duck Dynasty” premiered in March 2012, ran for 11 seasons, airing nearly 130 episodes before it ended in March 2017.

“When we were finished, we were ready to take a moment and go back,” Corey Robertson shared.

The New York Times bestselling author believes her children have helped A&E bring the “Duck Dynasty” back to life after the idea of ​​a reboot.

“It was special because when we brought it to our kids they all said, ‘Yeah, we want to do it again,'” she recalled.

“It was very good and rewarding what they wanted to do again,” she continued. “They enjoyed it, and we really did because we had to do it as a family.”

Elsewhere in the podcast interview, Corey Robertson thanked the lasting impact “The Duck Dynasty” among viewers, calling the show “the greatest blessing.”

“What God did with that show and how he used it to influence people is really powerful, and it’s beyond us, and we’ve ever been It was far beyond what I could have asked or imagined,” she said.

The reality star said her family tried to portray her life as authentic as possible, in a way that was fun as well as hopeful.

“That was the point. There was always hope, and no matter what happens at the end of the day…sit around the dinner table, thank God for what’s in front of you, right and left Thank you to someone and across from you,” she said.

“That’s really what it is and we’re really grateful for the impact it’s had on people.”
