ORLANDO, Fla. (KNWA/KFTA) – The Van Buren porn actor sentenced in December on human trafficking and other charges has been arrested in Florida for violating the terms of his release.

Michael Wayne Hall, 32, was located and arrested by the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force at the Amtrak Station in Orlando on January 22nd.

On December 17, 2024, Hall pleaded guilty to attempted human trafficking, two counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threats. He is a habitual criminal. Hall was sentenced to 120 days in the Crawford County Jail, with a 10-year prison sentence suspended.

Hall was ordered to film, participate in, directly upload, or sell or purchase pornography for 10 years. He was also ordered to entice, ask, suggest or solicit a person to participate in pornography, according to his lawyer, prosecutor Kevin Holmes.

Before entering his guilty plea, Hall was set to face three jury trials during 2025.

On January 15, Holmes filed a petition to vacate Hall’s suspended sentence for violating the terms of his suspended sentence. Court documents say Hall committed new crimes for harassing communication and unlawful distribution of sexual images and recordings.

Hall reportedly cannot delete photos of people from his social media accounts and, according to the filing, solicited, solicited, offered, transmitted, and/or engaged in pornography, which is in violation of his suspended sentence. It is reported that he did.

The U.S. Marshals Service said they learned he left the state after a warrant was issued for Hall’s arrest.

Based on information provided by investigators in Arkansas, U.S. Marshals discovered Hall attempting to board a train and was arrested without incident.

Hall was transported to Orange Correctional Center pending extradition to Arkansas, according to the release. He currently faces 36 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Smith Police Department, Van Buren Police Department, Alma Police Department and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation, the release said.
