Prosperity – Florida Americans (AFPs) have small city halls throughout the state, promoting the benefits of the recently passed Trump tax bill.
All Democrats in Congress voted against one big beautiful bill to cut taxes and cut spending. Because these are popular with Americans, D levelles false accusations, but what else is new? ” said the Florida director of AFP Skylar Zander.
The AFP laid out “myth vs reality” where Democrats are wrong about the bill.
Myth #1: “Only the wealthy people benefited from Trump’s tax cuts.”
Fact: This tired, misleading claim elopes every time tax relief is on the table. But it doesn’t make it true. The 2017 Tax Cuts and Employment Act helped all Americans. It reduced taxes and simplified at all income levels
Submitted by doubling the standard deduction and adjusting annually for inflation.
Myth #2: “The bill cuts Medicaid for those who rely on it.”

Fact: The reforms to Medicaid in one big beautiful bill are not about reductions. They focus on fixing broken systems and better serve those who need it. Opponents call reform a “cut,” but that’s wrong. Medicaid has expanded far beyond its original mission, straining resources and leaving vulnerable people behind.
Myth #3: “This bill explodes the deficit.”
Fact: Tax cuts are not driving budget deficits – they have out of control.
Federal spending has more than tripled since 2001 – the last time the federal budget was leapt to nearly $7 trillion from under $2 trillion last year. The 2017 tax cuts caused a massive economic boom, record unemployment and a rise in income. Growth generates revenue and reduces reliance on government programs.
