The administration is escalating information and legal war campaigns to attack faith groups outside the border, experts say.
WASHINGTON – On June 6, Empett and his supporters lit the spotlight on the invisible war of the Chinese regime, manipulating the West and restraining opposition outside the Chinese border.
The panel, hosted by the Capitol Epoch Times, focused on the escalation of oppositional suppression in the US, targeting faith group Farn Gong.
“All aspects of strikes”
The communist regime is engaged in information and legal wars to attack Falun Gong and groups belonging to American groups, panelists said.
The goal they said was to disrupt the influence of Falun Gong in the international community and the call to end 26 years of persecution in China.
Yuan Hongbing, a legal scholar with high level contacts in the Chinese state device, first revealed the campaign of the Chinese government during the Epoch era in December 2024.
Speaking effectively on the panel, the original divided the administration’s efforts into “one central focus and two directives.”
According to Yuan, the campaign focuses on the assassination of Falun Gong founder Li Hongzhi, in order to shake up the foundations of the spiritual group. The party then uses information and legal warfare by mobilizing mainstream western media, deploying disinformation and other tactics to reduce the impact of Falun Gong.
The administration “will attack on all sides,” Ewan said.
Janice Trey, CEO of the Epoch Times, described the campaign as “silent war.”
By restructuring global opinion by adopting Western legal systems, regulatory bodies and Western legacy media outlets, the Communist Party of China (CCP) said it is directly challenging the foundations of a democratic society.
“This tactic threatens freedom of speech, freedom of religion and national security,” Trey said.

Various tactics
Panelist Mark Yang, director of advocacy at the nonprofit Falun Dhafa Information Center, shortened the event as explained how the administration’s campaign is unfolding in the US soil. The Capitol Police later said there were “fixed electrical issues” during the Epoch era.
“This escalation we’re seeing right now is the result of a top-down decision,” Yang said. “Unfortunately, we’re really witnessing these tactics unfolding now.”

Such an operation of the Western legacy agency struck Eric Patterson, the panelist and president of the Communist Memorial Foundation victims.
“What’s surprising is how many negatively crooked stories are there for this one group, to my knowledge, when there were no similar reports on other international or US performance groups,” Patterson told the Epoch Times.
“What it suggests is that places like the New York Times and other US media must be very careful, and they are probably just being fooled by being manipulated by CCPs.”
“The Chinese are not our enemy, but the leadership of the Communist Party and many of its organs and institutions say they are our enemy.”

“Think about the meaning.”
Yang said in Shen Yun’s case, the CCP “exemplified his ability to weaponize American media, feed on government agencies and utilize the judicial system.”
“Think about what that means,” he said, “If CCPs can effectively target one group, what prevents them from targeting other individuals and institutions?”
The Epoch Times’ commitment to exposing the abuses of the communist regime has become one of Beijing’s important targets since its US publication was established in 2000. Chinese authorities then arrested dozens of Chinese people involved in the publications and arrested them for decades in prison for ten years.
Whether the regime was trying to restrain it was Falun Gong or other groups, “The reason they are targeted more than anything is because it represents something they can’t control by the CCP,” Patterson said.
“They represent the structure of authority, for values outside the Communist Party’s control, for belief, and that is a threat.”
