TALHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — As the beloved gas station chain expands statewide, it shows that Buc-EE may be focusing on the panhandle at its fifth Florida location.
In an email Friday, Buc-EE’s Director of Real Estate Development Stan Beard said it was in the early stages of the permitting process for new locations in the Tallahassee area, and there are still boxes for many boxes to check. ”

“Tallahasse and Leon County have been on a great community list for a long time to share their Buc-EE experience,” Beard said. “We look forward to bringing Buc-EE to the Florida Panhandle with continued efforts with Leon County Planning and Leon County leadership.”
Most people know Buc-EE about the massive travel centre, packed with sweets like beaver nuggets, pulled pork sandwiches and numerous items ranging from bath bombs to t-shirts.
Currently, travelers can gain Buc-EE experience in two business locations in Florida. One is Daytona Beach and the other is St. Augustine.
However, plans are being planned for the huge store just east of I-75 near Highway 326 in Ocala. With over 80,000 square feet of travel centers and over 100 gas pumps, the store can take the title as “The World’s Largest Buc-EE.” The company’s location in Ruling, Texas now holds its title.
The company is also planning to build a St. Lucie County store on the southeast corner of Indolio Road and Interstate 95.
