Flagler County, Fla. (WFLA) – “Birthday Suit Bandit” was arrested over the weekend after he said he tried to break into a woman’s house in Florida over the weekend.
A woman called 911 just after midnight on Saturday, after hearing what she sounded like a knife cutting the door lock,
When deputies arrived they spotted Matthew Hunter, 63, walking away from the woman’s house in his birthday suit. They also found gouges in the frame and molding of the victim’s front door.

The body camera video showed the assistant approach hunter as he walked away from home.
“You’re a little scary right now. Don’t worry, everything’s cool,” Hunter told the lieutenant.
“What’s going on?” the aide asked the Hunter. “You’re walking down the street naked.”

The Hunter was then taken into custody.
“Trying to break into a home without your briches is not a law enforcement encounter,” the Staly Sheriff said. “Doing so will land you on the Green Roof In or Dead by the homeowner who will protect you from the madman.”
The hunter was taken to the prisoner detention facility at Sheriff Perry Hall. He was charged with attempted robbery, genital exposure and criminal mischief, deputies said.
He was later released on a $12,000 bond.
