Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) – Looking for a place to cool down as the weather intensifies? There’s nothing more to these Florida water parks.

USA Today recently released the Best Outdoor Water Parks for readers in the US, with Florida dominating the list with three out of 10.

Coming to No. 9 is Tampa’s own Adventure Island, located at 10001 N. McKinley Drive, Tampa, Florida.

There are water slides, pools, lazy rivers, lots of places to eat, and new splash pads for small things.

Better yet, tickets are currently being discounted for spring sale on Adventure Island.

Adventure Island’s Bush Garden is undergoing a $40 million transformation

Kissimmee Island H2O Water Park ranked 6th in over 20 attractions ranked on the thrill level.

Visitors can enjoy adrenaline spikes slides, lazy rivers surrounding the park, huge wave pools, and even a private pool area for guests over 21 years old.

Seaworld’s Aquatica Orlando came in third place and appeared in the top three of the 10 best lists of the past five years.

There are opportunities to visit 15 slides and pools to choose from, a lazy river, a private cabana, and dolphin displays in the park.
