ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced two calls Friday after a man died after riding a roller coaster in an epic universe. Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, 32, was found to not respond after riding a Stardust Racer roller coaster on Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital where he died. The Sheriff’s Office said it had not received a 911 call for the incident. TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A report released in July by the Florida Department of Agriculture revealed the number of injuries recorded at Florida theme parks this year. WFLA.com looked at the report after 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala passed away after riding a Stardust Racer roller coaster in the epic universe of Universal Orlando Resort. An Orange County Medical Inspector has determined that Zavala’s death was an accident. Authorities said he died of multiple blunt shock injuries. st. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – Pinellas County’s new I-275 expansion project begins Friday. FDOT will last for the next four and a half years. The completed project will eventually connect the drivers from West Shore to Tropicana Field more smoothly.
