TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Florida has a new “Super Speedoter” law designed to make state roads safer. The law involves drivers above 100 mph, or over 50 mph from posted speed limits. Drivers are arrested immediately and can face a $500 fine and 30 days of prison if convicted. What is Florida’s “super speeder” law? ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced two calls Friday after a man died after riding a roller coaster in an epic universe. Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, 32, was found to not respond after riding a Stardust Racer roller coaster on Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital where he died. The Sheriff’s Office said it had not received a 911 call for the incident. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida Attorney General James Usmier has declared that state residents can carry their guns freely. TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A report released in July by the Florida Department of Agriculture revealed the number of injuries recorded at Florida theme parks this year. WFLA.com looked at the report after 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala passed away after riding a Stardust Racer roller coaster in the epic universe of Universal Orlando Resort. An Orange County Medical Inspector has determined that Zavala’s death was an accident. Authorities said he died of multiple blunt shock injuries. Florida Taxwatch released “Options to eliminate or reduce property tax burdens for Florida homeowners” to provide the Florida Property Tax Commission’s Select Committee prior to the commencement of Monday, September 22nd. st. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – Pinellas County’s new I-275 expansion project begins Friday. FDOT will last for the next four and a half years. The completed project will eventually connect the drivers from West Shore to Tropicana Field more smoothly. Walt Disney World has announced the narrator for the 2025 Candlelight Prosessional, a long-term holiday event in Epcot. The list includes eight first-timers, including actors Henry Winkler, Jennifer Garner and Cheryl Lee Ralph.
