Cape Coral, Fla. (WFLA) – Former U.S. Rep. Madison Cowthorne was arrested in Florida on Wednesday. The Republican who represented North Carolina from 2021 to 2023 was accused of not appearing in Collier County Court. Court records obtained by NBC affiliate WBBH show that a warrant was issued for Cowthorne’s arrest on Wednesday after missing out on his arrest that morning.
