MONTHALL, Billings – A 37-year-old man died after falling from a chairlift that had been suffering from mechanical problems in the Montanaski area, according to a spokesman for the local government and Red Lodge Mountain.The man was riding alone in three chairs carrying skiers onto the mountain as they fell from an unspecified height, they said.
