FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WFLA) – The victims of the 1986 cold case murder have been actively identified almost 40 years after it was held. On October 7, 1986, the body of an unidentified man was found in the Grove area southwest of Selvitz Road, Ralls Road. The victim was detained and appeared to have been shot multiple times in execution-style murders. The investigation resumed in 2019, allowing the court to excavate the victim’s bodies in 2020, allowing additional biological samples to be collected.
