On October 7, 1986, the body of an unidentified man was found in the Grove area southwest of Selvitz Road, Ralls Road. The victim was detained and appeared to have been shot multiple times in execution-style murders. The investigation resumed in 2019, allowing the court to excavate the victim’s bodies in 2020, allowing additional biological samples to be collected. Gatorland Global acts locally and internationally, protecting and rescuing Florida crocodiles, and acting outside the United States in efforts in countries such as Cuba, Jamaica, Venezuela, and Colombia.
