His mother, Erica McGriff, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, resisting an officer with violence and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida father was arrested after his 5-year-old daughter ingested THC gummies, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived at the Department of Children and Families and found the child’s mother and father, identified as Ka Juan Harris, 29. VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida boat manufacturer has been arrested for the second time after police say he defrauded five customers out of more than $200,000. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation revealed that each customer had hired Jeffrey Love of Deltona to build custom airboats. Customers paid him thousands of dollars but received “nothing in return other than excuses and stall tactics,” the sheriff’s office said. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visited Panama City in Bay County, then traveled to Franklin, Gulf and Walton counties to welcome new law enforcement officers by awarding them $5,000 hiring bonuses. Florida Attorney General James Usmeyer announced that the state has filed a civil enforcement action against Roku, Inc. and its Florida subsidiary alleging violations of the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBOR) and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA).
