ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested Thursday on charges related to the death of his 18-month-old son, according to the Volsia Sheriff’s Office. A VSO lawmaker who works with the Ormond Beach Police Department arrested 33-year-old Scott Allen Gardner after his son, Sebastian, said he was “helpless” on June 6th in a hot truck. During the investigation of the incident, Gardner gave multiple false accounts of the fateful day that occurred.
