Whistleblower James Gaddis claims in the lawsuit that he was “differently treated and retaliated” by DeSantis, former director of Florida Environmental Protection Agency Sean Hamilton, and DeSantis, Director Jake Vick, after releasing information about the secret plan. Authorities said the incident occurred near the 2200 block of Shore Lane in Boca Grande, a small cost community on Gasparilla Island.
