The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is calling on Congress to pass legislation to address President Trump’s successes at the US southern border. “After decades of mass illegal immigration and four years of unchecked chaos at the border, illegal immigration was not only stopped in 2025, but significant progress was made to reverse illegal immigration,” FAIR said. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimates that not only were there no new illegal immigrants to the United States, but that an estimated 2.5 million illegal aliens left the country in 2025, either because they were arrested and deported, or because…
Car buyers are often told that price differences are determined by negotiation skills and market timing. New research suggests something far more troubling. CarEdge, an online auto consumer company, deployed an AI shopping agent to contact 100 Ford dealers across the country and request in-store prices for the same trucks at essentially the same MSRP. The result was a staggering price difference of $17,008. This was not caused by vehicles, but by opaque fees, inconsistent practices, and intentional barriers to transparency. Each dealer received the same request for an in-store price for the same truck. The vehicles were the same.…

“It’s the gateway to drugs,” Chef Bruno Fonseca tells me when I ask him about Oysters Rockefeller. This dish is not only well-known (though these days you’re more likely to associate it with the famous New York City skating rink than with the world’s first billionaire, after whom it’s named), but it’s also the perfect introduction to the delights of this beautiful, salty bivalve. why? Because it’s already cooked. Bruno Fonseca, owner of Bruno’s Oysters, calls Rockefeller-style oysters a “gateway drug” for those not yet ready to eat them raw. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced a bill that would require federal candidates to disclose whether they intend to trade stocks if elected. He said the move was aimed at increasing transparency about parliament’s stock activities and restoring public trust. The announcement coincided with DeSantis’ endorsement of a federal bill introduced by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida). Florida has never been a single-sport state. On any given weekend, you might have college football streaming on one screen, the NBA on another, and European soccer on your phone. The combination is not new. What has changed is how naturally betting has blended into that routine. For many fans, betting no longer feels like a separate activity. This feels like another way to follow the game, similar to checking stats or reading post-game reactions. Sports first, everything else second Most Florida sports fans don’t wake up in the morning thinking about the odds. They wake up and think about…

Never underestimate the ability of politicians to come up with creative plans to reach deep into the pockets of taxpayers. Since Puerto Rico was hit by back-to-back hurricanes nearly a decade ago in 2017, U.S. taxpayers have contributed more than $20 billion in federal recovery funds. Now, local politicians are using the legal system as a weapon to steal even more of your hard-earned tax dollars. Under the guise of collecting unpaid construction taxes, local governments are attempting to tax Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reconstruction projects. A federal contractor who rebuilt the island’s infrastructure on behalf of taxpayers is…
