MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) – A Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputy was arrested Wednesday after being accused of receiving and producing child sex abuse materials. According to NBC affiliate WTVJ, the case came to light after a complaint was filed against 51-year-old Carl Miranda Blum in the state’s attorney’s office. According to the complaint, Blum traveled to Georgia in the spring of 2025, where she recorded multiple videos of herself engaged in sexual acts with the then-17-year-old victim.
