An analysis by the JPMorganchase Institute found that people’s total cash reserves are increasing when they surveyed accounts of 4.7 million households and included new amounts in securities accounts, financial funds and certificates of deposits to assess the well-being of people. Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) – The Florida native aviator finally takes a break after disappearing from the mountains of Laos more than 50 years ago during the Vietnam War. Sgt. Willis R. Hall, 40, of Broward County, was one of 19 men assigned to Lima Site 85, a secret radar site in Laos’ remote mountains. According to the US National Air Force Museum, the site was used to guide a bomb strike against North Vietnam. Millions of Americans are now at risk of losing healthcare coverage or food aid under the recently passed mega budget by the GOP. ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — Stephen Stearns, the man charged with the death of Florida teenager Madeline Soto, did not contest Monday’s teenage murder. According to Wesh, Sterns was originally scheduled to go to trial Tuesday on 60 counts of sexual abuse and murder at the 13-year-old. Investigators said the defendant, who was dating the victim’s mother, recorded that he had sexually abused Madeline Soto for years before his death in 2024. Brightline’s planned Orlando to Tampa high-speed rail expansion attracts strong support from business and civic leaders along Florida’s I-4 corridor. NEW YORK (AP) – The over 5.2 million ground swimming pools sold in the US and Canada over the past 20 years have been recalled after nine people reported deaths of their own. The recall covers the range of Bestway, Intex Recreation and Polygroup pools sold by major retailers dating back to 2002.
