Tampa, Fla. (Bloom) – Not a while ago, dashboard cameras were considered a niche tool. This was primarily used by truckers, law enforcement, or auto enthusiasts who wanted to relive their scenic drives. However, in Florida, dash cams are rapidly becoming a quiet need for everyday drivers. From documenting conflicts to detering theft and handling disputes with insurance companies, more Floridians have installed video systems in their cars for the heart behind the wheels. “It’s wise to record what’s going on on the road between hurricanes, hit-and-runs and the occasional crocodile intersection,” said Ryan Wells, a St. Petersburg driver who…
Josh Boak, Rajesh Roy, Fatima Hussein, Associated Press WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday, placing an additional 25% tariff on India to buy Russian oil, bringing the total tariff imposed by the allies to 50%. The customs duties will come into effect 21 days after the order is signed. In other words, both India and Russia may have time to negotiate with the government on import taxes. Trump’s move could have fought for India’s economic trajectory. Until recently, India was considered a Chinese alternative by American companies considering relocating manufacturing. China also purchases oil…

Apple previously said it was intended to invest $500 billion domestically, but now it will increase to $600 billion. In recent months, Trump has criticized the tech company and…
According to a recent panel of Democratic consultants at the Capital Tiger Bay Club Forum in Tallahassee, Florida Democrats are realistically considering their 20-year plan for being elected statewide across the state. The consultants highlighted the most basic doctrines for winning any campaign. It involves registering voters and voting for the vote. Democrats who had completely dominated Florida politics for almost 120 years after the reconstruction have fallen into funk since the administration of President Lawton Chile, and have been able to hold several close gubernatorial elections since then. And that was before Republicans launched a massive attack on voter…

MIAMI (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday heard debate about whether the construction of an immigration detention center built in the middle of the Florida Everglades would be called “Alligator Alcatraz” because it failed to comply with environmental laws.
