Chandler, Texas (Kett) – The elderly Florida couple appears to have been dropped off at a hotel in East Texas after their family decided they couldn’t stay with them.

Chandler Police Station said he received a call from an elderly couple who seemed to get lost while wandering around the hotel. Hotel employee Rylee Taylor said the woman was wearing a nightgown, a hospital band and shoes.

Despite the warranty, the St. Petersburg family left without AC for several months

“Officers quickly discovered that the couple appears to be suffering from contradictory flaws, and apparently lost,” the police department said. “The couple had a room booked for two nights, but the couple didn’t have luggage, food, money or any medication they needed.”

Authorities determined that due to their age, the couple could not care about themselves. The couple were identified as Rev. William McCann and his wife, Mary McCann, of Fort Myers, Florida.

“For unknown reasons, the family decided that the couple could not be with them, and as a result, the couple was left in the hotel without supervision or necessary personal belongings and abandoned,” the police department said. Ta.

Chandler’s Ross Hermanos served the couple food until other arrangements were made. Texas Adult Protective Services contacted Joyneal, a mental health expert.

This involved an elderly couple, son and daughter-in-law, after the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the house’s obstruction the day before, and then the stem was born.

“It was discovered that his son and stepdaughter decided to pay a two-night stay in Chandler’s best west to take the elderly couple out of their residence, but that was later law enforcement. “It was learned without knowledge of. My son and stepdaughter were not planning to return to the elderly couple,” Chandler Police Department said.

No criminal offences occurred while the sheriff’s office was on the scene, and authorities took William and Mary to “prevent further obstruction.” The son reportedly told deputies he would soon take his parents’ belongings to the hotel. But the next day, these items didn’t make it.

When asked by authorities if his son would return for his parents, he told them he wouldn’t. Chandler PD said the couple apparently had been brought to the Chandler area from Florida by their son.

“The son and stepdaughter decided that their son and stepdaughter could not care about the elderly couple, and as a result, the couple was left in the hotel without supervision or necessary personal belongings and abandoned.” said Chandler Police Department.

Social workers confirmed that both had dementia and were subsequently taken to hospital. Authorities are currently looking for a nursing home where couples can stay.

“They are so sweet, so loving. Her husband sang the gospel to me, and they studied the Bible last night, which warms my heart. I don’t know who did it to them.” Taylor said.

At this point, the police department said there were no pending criminal charges.
