The Eagles promoted game coordinator Kevin Paturo as offensive coordinator after Kellen Moore joined the New Orleans Saints.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown says the offense needs to take a step further after the Super Bowl wins.

The Eagles announced Wednesday that they have promoted game coordinator Kevin Paturo as offensive coordinator in place of Kellen Moore, who was hired as head coach of the New Orleans Saints following the Eagles’ victory at the Super Bowl Ricks. In an interview with the NFL Network on Thursday, Brown said the offense needs to evolve to keep the team successful.

“For our fans, they need to understand that everything has to be changed,” Brown said. “We just won, but we have to change. We have to get better and we have to do different things. But I think it’s a great employment He really feels like he’s a guy. He’s already involved in almost everything. He, Kellen and (head coach) Nick (Syriani) are basically already calling theatre.”

Paturo has experience with Silianni. He served as wide receiver coach for the Indianapolis Colts when Syriani was the offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2020. Paturo was then assigned to Pass Game Specialist in 2020. Coordinator, offensive coordinator Shane Steichen from 2021 to 2022, Brian Johnson and Moore 2024 in 2023.

Silianni promoted his relationship with Paturo when the team announced the employment. “(He) is very important to the success we have done,” the head coach said via the team’s official website. “He wears a lot of different hats, and he really helps me with different head coaching. First off, ‘What do you think?’ That’s all. It’s in-game, off-game, scheduling, it’s offensive, game management. ”

“That continuity has always been a great resource for me because I know what I think in a particular situation, how you want things to be taught, all of those different things, and he’s always been a great resource for me. It was our success this year, our success, but he really matters. He really did succeed since he came here. You can’t do great without the greatness of others. That’s definitely for Kevin Paturo It’s true, and I trust him all. I have a lot of trust and faith with him. He’s amazing.”

Paturo’s employment could also focus on passing games. This season, the Eagles ranked second in the NFL for both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns as a team. That success, especially running through the historic season of Saquon Barkley, was important to the team’s 14–3 record and playoff runs. But the focus on running the ball came at the expense of a passing game. The Eagles ranked 30th in passing yards and 12th in passing touchdowns as a team.

Brown’s statistics fell during the playoff run. He only caught three passes for 24 yards during the wildcard and round game of division. He attributed both the Philadelphia struggle and the team’s anemia-passing attacks to the anaemia to bad weather. His statistics have risen slightly. He caught six passes for 96 yards, made a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game, and three catches for 43 yards and a Super Bowl touchdown.

Brown said if Philadelphia wants to protect the championship, it is necessary to evolve its offense.

“It has to change, it has to evolve,” Brown said. “I don’t know what wrinkles look like, but we have to find a way to get better. It’s a lot of fame on us, and we just won — and the guys are We’re not hunting anymore, we’re hunting and we have to get better.”

Paturo agrees to Brown. “Around the league, crime evolves every year, so as a coach, that’s your job,” he said in an interview the week before the Super Bowl via the team’s website. “You need to evolve. You have to study others, take what you like and past experiences, and go from there.”
