Sarasota -gun, Florida -Sarasota -gun school officials have published a survey in 2025, indicating how students, parents, and school employees feel about school mobile phone policies.

The result was fully mixed.

Mobile phones are increasingly banned from Florida and national schools.

More than 4,000 parents and teachers have voted for changing the rules for using mobile phones at schools in Sarasota County.

The Board of Education agreed not to change the policy after the survey. The decision not to change the policy is contrary to the recent trend.

For the past year, Hills Bolo, Pinus and Pasco County have all voted for more strict policies.

In the state as a whole, 20 counties have a mobile phone ban, but 47 counties have exceptions in which telephone is used during the non -introduction time.

The current policy of Sarasota is that elementary school students cannot use their mobile phones at any time. For junior high school students, you can use the phone only under the staff director during the guidance of a specific class. The same applies to high school students, but you can use your mobile phone during your class transition or lunch period.

Another item discussed at the Board of Education’s meeting was whether to buy a locked phone pouch to make a phone call during the day.

The Board of Directors did not make a final decision on the porch, but said that it would cost about $ 1 million.
