ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A week-long boy was abandoned in a car seat in front of an Orlando home Monday morning, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Police say the newborn was found in the 5500 block of Rido Street around 7:20am.

He was healthy and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said they are seeking the community information that could help officials identify children and find parents. They encourage people in the Lido Street area to check the security and surveillance footage of their homes.
