A new Fox News poll reveals that the majority of Americans believe the federal government was not transparent about how the Jeffrey Epstein case was dealt with. Only 13% of respondents who said they thought the government was open on the issue, while 67% said they were not.
Skepticism has been reduced across political boundaries, with 60% of Republicans and 56% of self-identified MAGA supporters saying the government is not approaching. Among Democrats, 74% expressed disappointment at the government’s transparency, while only 9% believe it is open. Independents also share that sentiment, with 64% saying the government is secret and only 10% believe otherwise.
Commenting on the results of the vote, political analyst Bill Christol noted the unusually wide agreement across the party’s boundaries. “What’s impressive is the relative uniformity of voters’ judgments,” Christol said. “Even among Republicans, the division is between 60% and 18%.”

He said, “It turns out that everyone is interested in the Epstein Files, which is why the White House is panicking.”
