Chuluota, Fla. (WFLA) — A small helicopter crashed in the backyard of a Seminole County residence Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The Seminole County Fire Department said the helicopter fell shortly after 5:30pm during a “unplanned landing.” The helicopter was located on the side of the backyard of the house, off the Garanti Foxway in Chuluota.

According to the first responder, the structure is not hit or damaged. The pilot was the only person on the aircraft. Authorities said the pilot was able to safely get out of the aircraft and was not injured.
The incident was handed over to the Federal Aviation Administration for further investigation. No further information was provided immediately.
