ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – An Orlando man has been sentenced to six and three years of supervised release in federal prison for lying to the FBI in connection with an investigation into international terrorism.
According to the release of the Justice Department, the 47-year-old Islamic Church was sentenced by a judge after being accused of making false statements in an interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS), which pleaded guilty on October 15, 2024.
According to the evidence presented during Doci’s judicial agreement and the ruling, Doci promoted ISIS propaganda online, communicated with members of the organization, and sent money abroad while encouraging others to provide money to ISIS.

Additionally, the release said Doci celebrated the murder of Americans and provided financial support to ISIS for the war.
The FBI interviewed Doci on two separate occasions in relation to these activities.
