MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) – A man who has already been charged and taken into custody for double murder has been released from prison when it should not have been, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office has announced.
James Edward Daniels was charged with double murder on December 5, 2020 in Opa Rocca, Florida.
Deputies are helping federal partners find Daniels after being informed that they should not be released from prison.

According to NBC affiliate WTVJ, Osmar Olivia, 50, and Johan Gonzalez Quesada, 26, were found in a 1801 garden on Rutland Street.
Truck drivers Olivia and Gonzalez Quesada were airlifted from the truck’s yard and invited along with another surviving victim.
Police told WTVJ that the masked temptier tied his hands and tortured him in the back of a moving type truck for hours before shooting him in the head and leaving him in the yard.
Daniels and Frederick Eugene Rudolph were found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
