WINDERMERE, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida man has been arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer again and trying to attract the victim, according to an affidavit.
On Monday, the victim called 911 to report a vehicle near the Windermere shopping plaza, with yellow lights attempting to launch a traffic stop.

The victim told deputies at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office that the “official” in the black vehicle with a push bar on the grille flashed the amber light and began chasing closely behind him for a mile. The victim pulled, believing the vehicle was an unmarked police car.
The man identified as 60-year-old Albert Dolan approached the victim’s vehicle and asked for his license. However, the victim insisted on seeing Dolan’s badges and IDs.
Dolan tells the victim that others had driven him away in his car. According to the report, the victim followed Dolan in the car and rose next to the window to obtain a license plate for his ID.
Based on information obtained from the victims, Orange County lawmakers tracked Dolan’s home. A dark-colored Ford Explorer was discovered, with a windshield and side windows and a visible light bar along the push bar.
