Miami, Fla. (WFLA) – Kimberly Burch, the ’80s rock star’s fiancée, passed away after going overboard on an ’80s-themed Royal Caribbean cruise.
Her husband is Teem Dowde, a faster pussycat singer, and was one of the musical acts scheduled to appear on a cruise departing from Miami on Sunday, March 2nd.

On Monday, the couple posted a selfie together and said they were on a cruise. The exact circumstances of her death remain unknown, but Variety got a statement from the Royal Caribbean on Tuesday to confirm that local authorities are still searching for Burch’s body.
Her family also shared the following post on Facebook Tuesday morning:
“Shaving the sad news of Kimberly Burch’s passing has a broken heart. She was her beloved daughter, sister, step-sister and aunt. She will be greatly overlooked by everyone who knows and loves her. We ask for prayers for our family at this time. We are trying to wrap our hearts around this tragic tragedy. I love and miss Kimberly Burch!!!”
The US Coast Guard reported that the incident occurred just 20 miles from Freeport, the Bahamas.
The cruise is scheduled to return to Florida on Sunday, March 9th, with a lineup filled with other ’80s artists, including Jam and quiet fire station riots, alarms, alarms, and MTV personality Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and downtown Julie Brown.
The faster pussycat had a performance set for Sunday and Tuesday nights.
Downe formed the American Glam Mental Band in 1985 with guitarist Greg Steele, Brent Muscat and Bassist Kelly Nickels. The band released four albums, including the popular “Wake Me When It’s Over” (1989), and toured with Mötley Crüe, Kiss and others.
