Surprising surprise
Florida insurance company stepped on investors while claiming losses, according to a survey, February 23rd
Another day in Florida’s free market paradise, insurers scream poverty at every natural disaster. And who is standing up for the homeowner? Certainly not a hilarious band of our fearless “conflict” governor and his hilarious lawmakers. They seem to believe that their job descriptions will serve as concierges for large corporations rather than protecting the people who live here.
Watching these elected officials bend backwards and keep corporate donors happy, it’s really exciting to see hardworking Floridians trapped in the surge in insurance costs. But hey, we just keep voting for them, so maybe we’re just enjoying the abuse. After all, you can’t afford compensation, so you don’t say anything “personal freedom” that allows you to lose your home freely in the next storm.
Tallahassee, please continue your amazing work. I’m sure insurance executives will send you a lovely fruit basket.

Behind the curtain
Governor Desantis on Illegal Immigration ”Pulsation’ ignores big players | line, February 23rd
A wonderful job exposing the man behind the curtains! They can’t hide forever, so keep putting pressure on them. They need to step up and admit that they are dependent on tired, poor and hungry people.

Immigrants
Governor Desantis on Illegal Immigration ”Pulsement’ ignores big players | line, February 23rd
Columnist Graham Brink has ignored a huge player in the crackdown on illegal immigration. money! Of course, the Florida Legislature will not chase businesses to violate immigration laws. They will never bite their hands that will inaugurate them. It’s easy to choose one that doesn’t have the means to fight back.
Our governor and Congressional Republicans make us fool of the Floridians and make us think we’re doing something about immigration when all they’re doing is smoke and mirrors. The two bills they passed are embarrassing. Neither of them address the issue of immigration. They just make us mean.

One constant
Governor Desantis on Illegal Immigration ”Pulsation’ ignores big players | line, February 23rd
A few years ago I was shopping for plants at a nursery in Odessa. The owner proudly declared his MAGA qualification and asked, for unknown reasons, what I thought of Crooked Hillary. I ordered some bamboo to be delivered and installed. It arrived with Juan, the nursery supervisor. We chatted a little in Spanish. He worked at the nursery for 23 years “in the dark,” he said. He also wanted him to know that his wife, an immigration and customs enforcement employee, was legal.
The only constant in politics is hypocrisy.

Trump says Ukraine has begun a war killing civilians | February 21
Secretary of State Marco Rubio:
You and I are fellow Florida people, some kind of immigrant, and I can’t understand you. The unstable president you once criticized and opposed, once again turned reality into your head. He calls Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelenkiy a “dictator” and says he is in charge of the invasion of Russia, the sovereign democracy of our community, unprovoked Ukraine.
You can’t do anything good from now on, as you should know refugees from hostile Russian takeovers in Cuba’s hometown.

Condition 51
We’re breaking up, and it’s all your fault | line, February 23rd
Canada as the 51st state? It’s the typical Donald Trump Brother. A better idea is to make Florida the 11th Canadian province. After that, we have an orderly, well-running federal government and an infinitely superior healthcare system.

Why do these Canadians need to get printing space? All they do is cry Bruce and assault America. Go back to ya and boohee. For years, Canada has benefited from the imbalance of trade between our countries. America is now making it fair. The Canadian government is laughing all the way to the banks, forcing them to pay high prices for inferior products without competition. Your government thinks you are stupid.
