Apple spends billions of dollars on US manufacturing. Where plants go

Apple has recorded a $500 billion spending plan over the next four years. The company plans to employ around 20,000 people. New hires will focus on R&D, silicon engineering, software development, AI and machine learning.

Earlier on Monday, February 24th, Apple announced its “largest” spending plan, $500 billion over the next four years.

The announcement comes days after Apple CEO Tim Cook met with President Trump.

Plans that include affected conditions include plans.

What is the $500 billion Apple Investment?

Will Apple hire more people in the US?

The company currently supports more than 2.9 million jobs nationwide.

Where will $500 billion go?

New manufacturing facilities coming to Houston, Texas

Apple plans to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Houston to create Apple Intelligence servers, personal intelligence systems designed to help users write, express themselves and complete tasks .

If it is expected to open in 2026, the 250,000-square-foot facility will create thousands of jobs.

The servers were previously manufactured outside the US, the company said.

Apple Manufacturing Academy opens in Detroit, Michigan

“To help businesses move to advanced manufacturing, Apple is opening Apple Manufacturing Academy in Detroit.

“Apple engineers will consult with small and medium-sized businesses on the implementation of AI and smart manufacturing technologies, along with experts from top universities such as Michigan.

“The Academy also offers free in-person and online courses.”

The company will also expand grant programs for organizations such as 4-H, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and First. It works closely with Apple in communities across the country to “create free programming that will help young people learn important skills like coding.” ”
