Sunrise, Fla. — Jard McCann scored a Go-Ahead goal early in his third term, with Seattle Kraken beating the Florida Panthers 2-1 on Saturday night.
Kaappo Kako also had a goal, and Joey Daccord stopped 26 shots for Kraken.
Eetu Luostarinen scored for Florida. Florida played without star forward Matthew Tokachuk after suffering a body injury during a four-country showdown while representing the US.
With the game tied to one, Shane Wright entered the Florida zone and centered around a pass to Adam Larson, who found McCann on the left. McCann turned the shot over past Sergei Bobrovsky at 7:03 and put Kraken down first.
Seattle attacked early in the first period with a bracket’s power play goal of 6:32. Bracko moved past the left circle and near the crease, where he defeated Bobrovsky on the short side on the 10th goal of the season.
