Actor Eric Mabius, best known for his role in portraying Daniel Mead on the TV show Ugly Betty, has been arrested on two misdemeanor charges in Florida.
According to arrest records obtained by the Epoch Times, the 53-year-old was taken into custody on February 20th and booked at the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center.
Mabius was charged with battery after a bar fight near Fernandina Beach and resisted law enforcement officers without violence.
Details of the arrest officer were accompanied by a female fellow at the time of the argument with Mabius, both of whom were asked to leave the facility by a bartender and fellow users.
Upon arrival, officers described Mabius and the woman as “very drunk.”
In a written statement, the unnamed female victim claimed that the woman began pushing her when Mabius claimed that she left before she slammed her and his companions to the ground. did.
