It’s very Florida to watch a rocket launch while on the beach. It’s a hashtag that’s also popular on Instagram. On Florida’s space shore, Windows Shake is usually after the rocket is fired.
Semi-Cool and Semi-Breeze morning rocket launches in Florida to kick off the weekend? That’s the (potential) plan!
SpaceX plans to send Falcon 9 rockets with several StarLink satellites to several StarLink satellites on Friday, February 21st. Depending on the weather and visibility, there will be a show in the sky above the Space Coast.
The Rockets will be available from the Kennedy Space Center in Brevard County, east of Orlando’s theme parks and Cape Canaveral, Florida. Depending on the cloud cover, weather and visibility, people from Daytona Beach to Titusville, Melbourne Beach and Vero Beach have a wonderful stripe in the sky considering its proximity to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. You might be able to see it.
Below are some suggestions you should know where to see rocket launches from this area and more. If there is a change in the launch schedule, this story will be updated.

Where can I see the launch of the rocket in Florida? Is there a sonic boom with every launch from Cape Canaveral or Kennedy Space Center?
With weather allowed and cloud cover, rocket launches from the space shore could be visible to almost every part of Brevard County. The evening releases especially offer beautiful views. After booting, there is usually a rumble here, and there is a possibility of window shaking.
Some rocket launches have added bonuses. SpaceX boosters either return to the Atlantic drone ship or sometimes back to the company’s landing zone in Cape Canaveral. When the booster returns to the landing zone, there is a sonic boom.
When there is a startup window in the middle of the night or early in the morning, there are unique photo opportunities. The rocket illuminates the dark sky and the powder afterwards makes a great photo.

Where to see SpaceX Rocket launch from Florida Space Coast
Most locations in Brevard allow you to watch rocket launches in certain areas. You’ll get great views of the SpaceX rocket booster back at Pads. The perfect view to see the rocket launch from the Space Coast is along the beach. However, visibility depends on weather conditions and people should avoid blocking bridge traffic and road rights and follow rules posted on the beach.
If you’re watching a launch along the Indian River in Titusville from Spaceview Park or Parrish Park, look directly across the river.
If you’re further south along the Indian River, look northeast.
The Playalinda Beach or Canaveral National Sheashore is almost parallel to the launch pad 39A, making it the closest place to see the lift-off. On the beach, look south along the coastline (you can even see the pads from several spots).
