Florida gas prices have risen since last week: how much do you look at here?

The state’s gas prices rose last week, reaching an average of $3.09 per gallon on Monday, according to the U.S. Energy Information Agency.

The state’s average fuel price has risen by about five cents since last month. According to the EIA, statewide gas prices last year were $2.93 on January 22, 2024 and $3.54 on May 6, 2024.

A year ago, Florida’s average gas price was 2% lower at $3.03 per gallon.

Last week, the average gas price in the US was $3.13, with state prices being about 1.2% lower than the national average. The average national gas price has risen from the average $3.08 per gallon last week.
