Several people, including about five teenagers, stay in the hospital after a heavy Quebec truck and bus collide.
According to provincial police, the incident occurred during a blizzard in the Lauren region of Quebec on February 13th.
At the time, the bus carried about 30 people from Valdo or Valdo in that state who belonged to the swimming club. They were heading to the Quebec Junior Cup in Brainville, a local swimming competition.
Police said six people were taken to hospital after the crash. The injury was not considered life-threatening.
The two were moved to Montreal for treatment, while the three were at Mont Lowier Hospital in the area where the collision occurred.
The Post said Coach Danny Delisle was released from the hospital and sent home.

Quebec police said a crash investigation is ongoing.
However, he also said that some people suffered serious injuries requiring surgery.
“We would like to thank Mont Lawyer Hospital’s first responders and emergency medical team for doing exceptional work with our swimmers and peers,” he wrote in the Post.
Francis Menard, head of Quebec’s swimming federation, said the injured swimmers ranged from 12 to 17 years old.
Menard said the federal decision to continue the competition after consulting with coaches and athletes.
He said the initial shock after the accident turned into a wave of solidarity for those who fell. Menard said there was applause in the race on the morning of February 14th.
According to Menard, different clubs at the competition will work on plans to safely return everyone home as another snowstorm is expected to hit the state on February 16th, the final day of the competition. It’s done.
He said some teams may need to leave early and the schedule will be adjusted as needed.
Young athletes returning to Valdor are expected to meet Heath experts, social services and school representatives, Menard said.
“I think there will be a huge wave of solidarity among the young people who will return to Valdo or Bardot at the next time,” he said.
