Jeff Davis has been appointed park president at Bush Gardens Tampa Bay Theme Park. He comes to Florida from his role as Parks President at Sea World San Antonio.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to lead our team at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as we invest heavily in the parks to improve our guest infrastructure, operations and overall park experience,” Davis said in the news. It was mentioned in the release.

“There’s a lot more exciting going on at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay right now, and it’s coming soon,” he said.

The park, owned by Orlando-based United Parks & Resort, is set to open an area called Wild Oasis this spring. Its attractions include a drop tower surrounded by jungle scenes, multi-level climbing structures, splash pads, scavenger hunts and animal interactions.

Magnificent Universe Food Front: Mario Burger, Astropub, Garlic, Butterbeer, etc.

Davis also works at Sesame Place Philadelphia, Playland Park in New York, Lake Compound Amusement Park in Connecticut, Nickelodeon Universe in the American Dream in New Jersey, and Dornie Park in Pennsylvania.

At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, he will replace Stewart Clark, who left the company last year. Clark had two different stints as president for more than five years in total. He also served as president of Discovery Cove, a day resort in Sea World Orlando.
