
A crash Thursday night in Titusville left a 70-year-old motorcyclist dead and a seriously injured passenger, Florida Highway Patrol reported. The Troopers responded to the scene of a crash at US 1 and Harbor Oak Crane around 6:30pm near the Manatee Hammock Campground.

According to the crash report, the Dodge Ram Pickup truck driven by a 66-year-old Ohio man stopped at the stop sign on US1, preparing a west-facing manatee campsite for a left turn.
The Troopers said the truck driver tried to turn south and drive directly onto the motorcyclist road heading northwards with us one.
A Jacksonville man, not named in the report, was declared dead at Parish Hospital, FHP reported. The 27-year-old female passenger, also unnamed, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was reported in stable condition.
According to FHP, both the motorcyclist and the passenger were wearing helmets during the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
