The Federal judge killed the BC Farm’s Saturday, effectively killed about 400 ostriches, which were in the occurrence of bird flu.
Judge Michael Batista has decided to maintain a ULL order imposed on a Canadian food inspection agency on Friday, but the farm is seeking a judicial examination of a lawsuit.
Battista stated in a written decision that he was promoting Saturday orders before examining further problems.
UNIVERSAL OSTRICH FARMS INC. lawyers argued that OStriches should be exempted from orders because genetics are subject to antibody research on Friday’s hearing.
