Florida holds two special elections on Tuesdays, and will be taken by President Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, a former parliamentary District Mats Getz (R-FLA). I will replace it.
The winners of each preliminary election may win the special general election scheduled for April 1. President Trump has supported Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis and Randy Fine (R-FLA). Favorites of the 6th and the first district, respectively.
What you see in the preliminary election of Florida’s special election on Tuesday is:
The seat will give the Republican members a room to control the house
The resignation of Gate’s Congress and the appointment of Waltz to the Trump administration has been entrusted to 218 Republican members, Mike Johnson (R-LA.). And if it is expected that Trump’s UN ambassador Pick Pick, RN.Y., will be confirmed, the majority will decrease to 217.
Republican members are preferred to beat their seats, but the majority of slims will leave Johnson in a little wave -shaped room to support Trump’s Agenda at home. In the meantime, all 218 Republican members must be in a rock step to pass the law.
The problem of Johnson is that there are several cracks in the unity of the Republican Party. The lower house GOP leadership is already working to balance the demands of Trump’s Agend Wish List and the Republican Finance Hawks. At least two Republican seats filled with Trump members who have been supported by Trump can give Johnson a room for pushing the agenda.
Trump was measured
Patronis and Fine began their bidding after Trump prompted both of them in November last year to run in their respective districts.
Following the support of Trump’s patronis in the first parliamentary district, many previously announced candidates dropped out of the race immediately and supported Patronis. However, the state council members, Joel Rudoman (R), are still primary.
When the Filorida Congress, the only Jewish Republican member, became the first member of the Republican Presidential Election in 2024 when he became the first member of the Florida, who switched its support from Ron Desantis (R), Governor Florida, to Trump. I won the waves. Fine said that Trump’s actions showed his support to the Jewish community.
Republicans prefer to win in the general election
Everyone who won the preliminary election on Tuesday is greatly supported by the April general election, given the powerful conservative leans in both districts.
The first parliamentary district, one of the most conservative things in the state, covers Florida’s west pamps. It contains some of Escambia, Okarusa, Santa Rosa, and Walton County. GAETZ won the district with 66 % of voting in November.
The sixth parliamentary area is on the other side of the state along the East Coast. It is spreading from Jackson Building to Day Navy Cito Area. Waltz re -elected in November and accounted for only 66 % of the voting.
