Not good for democracy
Trump candidates are facing the Senate’s hearing | January 14th
Senate’s confirmation hearing is a political equivalent to the evident evidence, and has been left to trivial competition between elite politics. The chairman’s Senator is trying to describe himself as altruistic civil servants, but there is no controversy that when reading from a self -cultivation script, it resembles an actor.
People’s true selfless agents avoid laughing the examination process. However, while the opposition is focusing on sensationalism, they look at a candidate with a thin resume that was ignored or reconstructed by the Senator who shared the party, ignored or reconstructed their flaws. Masu.
If qualifications are subordinate to political ideology, democratic norms will be eroded and American safety will be impaired.

Recognition of down syndrome
The player chooses No. 21 to recognize the down syndrome | January 19th
I often hear that professional athletes are not the best roll model for our world. However, thank you for sharing the Jake Burger’s story with Texas Rangers. He requested 21 to show the unique importance of his daughter who was recently born with down syndrome.
The professional athlete, his wife, and his son share the new cause by choosing the 21st to educate the sports community and the world. Parents’ love is much better than this!

Failure or satire?
Make the United States great | Letter, January 17th
Regarding the next administration, the letter writer said, “I am convinced that I will not see the judicial system used for political rivals or court attacks to make a decision that does not agree by the government.”
Really?
My question is easy: Is this hypocrisy or satire?

Starbucks and Day
Florida’s own investigator says that Moody is wrong about Starbucks | January 17
80 years ago, Branchirickey, a General Manager of Brooklyus Jers, signed a contract with Jackie Robinson for more than half a century to break the black man from the major league baseball. Ricky’s movement was altruistic, but he did it because his black player thought his sports “the biggest source of unauthorized talent”.
Today, as pointed out in Scott Maxwell’s column, people, like Ashley Moody, the Corporation of Florida, will consider such a movement to be a “day rental” that discriminates white. Such thinking is often based on a zero sam equation that needs to be lost when another group progresses. This way of thinking has existed for decades among many Americans who are suffering from “status anxiety”. It’s sad to see what is expressed by the selected officials.

Not so interesting
Please do not take our sake. Necessary immediately | Column, January 9th
Complete disclosure: I’m not a fan of Daniel Ruth’s guest column, but I read them. I agree with Ruth, but the idea of a former US surgeon to add alcohol warning is irrational, but I think many of his columns are far from the base. He boasts, “I started drinking in a boy scout and started smoking.” He keeps scouting requires a merit badge to make an appropriate old -fashioned thing.

There are tens of millions of alcoholism that started in the same way. Unfortunately, they can’t drink moderately. According to US statistics, 37 people have died every day for drunk driving. One person dies every 39 minutes for drunk driving. It dies about 14,000 people every year. Funny, huh!
