Associated Industries of Florida has announced that it will endorse Republican Anthony Bona for the 85th District of the Florida House of Representatives in the 2026 election.
AIF President and CEO Brewster Beavis said Bona’s track record in Port St. Lucie and support for pro-business policies led to his selection in the organization’s campaign.
“From helping deliver tax cuts and economic growth in Port St. Lucie to advocating for policies that support small businesses and job creators, Anthony understands what it takes to keep Florida competitive and prosperous,” Beavis said.
Beavis added that Bona has demonstrated “responsible leadership” and a “pro-business approach” and believes AIF will help create opportunities for Florida families and employers.
Bona said she was honored to receive support from business organizations across the state.

“Florida’s business community is the driving force behind our state’s economic success,” Bona said. “I am committed to supporting policies that eliminate red tape, create jobs, and foster innovation to ensure that Florida remains a state where families and businesses can thrive.”
Bona said he looks forward to working with AIF to promote Florida’s economic prosperity and uphold what he calls “common sense values.”
