Will Florida work be eligible for a “no tax on tips” deduction?

“No tax on hints” is not an actual explanation, although passed in the GOP Tax Law Guide.

However, individuals working in various industries have tax deductions. Eligible people can amortize qualifying tips up to $25,000 from the time frame between 2025 and 2028.

The US Treasury has listed over 60 tip jobs that “no tax on tips” apply.

Taxi and ride-sharing drivers and drivers

Shuttle Driver

Product delivery person

Personal vehicle and equipment cleaner

Charter bus driver

Water taxi operator

Rickshaws, pedicabs, and carriage drivers

Staff and wait for the dishwasher

Non-restaurant food servers such as hotels and residential care facilities

Dining room, cafeteria, bartender attendants and helpers

Food preparation workers

Host staff at restaurants, lounges and coffee shops

Non-radio disc jockeys working at clubs, parties and other events

Celebrities and performers such as comedians and street performers

Digital content creators such as streamers, podcasters, and social media influencers

Messenger, lobby attendant, ticket taker

Attendants in locker rooms, court rooms and dressing rooms

Gambling dealers, cage workers, change people, booth cashiers

Gambling and Sports Book Authors and Runners
