LEHIARE, Fla. (WFLA) – A LeHiker man faces 10 felony charges after stopping at a red light, causing a four-car crash and slamming a car that attempts to escape multiple times.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office shared a video of the crash, which was filmed on traffic cameras. It shows a red pickup truck moving at very high speed, with a white sedan backwards, stopped by the light. The sheriff’s office said the sedan was being pushed forward by other vehicles waiting in the light.

Witnesses told police that even after hitting the car, the pickup didn’t stop and continued to pass red lights.
The driver, later identified as 40-year-old Neil Simoga, was hit by another car and escaped the scene again. Shimoga eventually lost control of the truck and crashed into trees and shrubs on the side of the road.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that this time he made his final attempt to escape to Sheen on foot but was soon arrested with the help of the department’s K-9, Vader.
Deputies recognized signs of shimoga disorders, including bloody eyes and a strong alcoholic smell.
He was arrested and charged with one count of DUI, nine counts of DUI causing property damage and one hit and run.
